October P.S. 144 Newsletter from Administration

Welcome to our very first PS1 44 video newsletter! I can't believe it's already the month of October! Our students are doing really well in the classrooms! We love seeing all the smiles in the classrooms, in the hallways. Thank you so much to the families and the staff members for supporting our school and our teachers. We do have some exciting events happening in the month of October. October 1st and 2nd which is this Thursday and Friday we have 3 c's with admin connection conversation and collaboration. This is an opportunity for families to come in and just have conversations with us ask questions and it will just help us strengthen our partnership as a school community. We also have our annual character parade on October 30th. It's a Friday. Students are invited to come dressed as their favorite storyboard character and families are invited to come join in on the parade and watch our students walk around the block. In October, fifth grade middle school applications are opening in middle of October and we have 2 parent workshops happening in the building so please check our website where you can find more information about the parent workshops. We have so much to look forward to this October so we look forward to seeing you at all these events.

Please click on the calendar on our school website to see detailed information regarding all the events!
