November Newsletter November Newsletter Here's our November Newsletter! November is a time for learning, growth, and gratitude. Check out this month's school updates and upcoming events! Thank you for being our partners in education! 🍂📚🍁 Show Transcript Hello P.S.144 families staff and students! I can't believe it's already November. Here are some fun and exciting things that happened at our school in October. First we received a new soccer Turf in our school yard. Enrichment also started for some of the grades. We also had a Fall Festival hosted by the Parents' Association which was wonderful. Thank you to all those who attended and volunteered. We also wrapped up the month with our annual Storybook Parade. In November we have remote learning on November 3rd. Parent Teacher Conferences is on the same day. Just a reminder, Thursday November 5th is a full school day for our school. We also have student council speeches coming up that's happening in November as well as the Schoolwide Spelling bee for grades 4 and 5. 1 representative from each class will be participating and then the top winners will be attending and participating in the districtwide competition. There will also be no school on November 11th in honor of Veterans Day. We also have Thanksgiving coming up. There will be no school on the 26th and 27. We wish you a Happy Thanksgiving and we are so thankful for all of you. The PS 144 Community is thankful that Mrs. Ra was officially appointed our principal. We are so lucky to have you!
