Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Mission Statement

Our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Committee (DEIB) works to create a sense of belonging for all P.S. 144 students and families.  We advocate for equity, inclusion, and diversity in all school activities, events, and initiatives. The committee strives to create a community where diversity in all forms, including language, culture, race, immigration status, sexual and gender identity, mental and physical ability, economic class, and religion, is valued and respected. We strive to be a starting point for families to connect with, learn from, and advocate for one another.
