Our Goals
The School Leadership Team (SLT) is a group of people who develop educational policies for the school. They also make sure there are resources to support those policies. The SLT will:
- Provide ongoing evaluations of a school’s educational programs and their impact on student achievement.
- Are responsible for developing a school’s Comprehensive Educational Plan (CEP).
- Play an important role in school-based decision-making
- Help to make school cultures more collaborative.

*All meetings will be held at P.S. 144Q.
* Only School Leadership Team members can present and comment during the School Leadership Team meetings. Observers are welcome to attend all School Leadership Team meetings, however, are not allowed to speak or participate in any discussions. Should any observer wish to comment, a written submission to the School Leadership Team chairperson must be received one week prior to the meeting. After receiving the written request, the chairperson will consult with the School Leadership Team and the observer will be notified to speak at the following months meeting. Please email: TBD (Please check back in September) if you would like to request to speak at an SLT meeting.
