Diversity/Inclusion Books

Our school continuously strives to share, participate and help one another cultivate an environment that supports diversity and inclusion. We celebrate our differences, and through each other’s differences, we become aware of our own.  Our teachers continue to create a positive learning environment for students to make sure they feel welcomed and connected. Each year, all teachers receive a collection of books designed to foster the positive learning environment and facilitate classroom discussions about diversity and acceptance.

The classes at PS 144 watched the following video.
